WHO WE ARE

Great communities need great libraries.
Great libraries need Friends.

Friends need support from generous Bristolians.

The Friends of Rogers Free Library is a charitable 501 (c)(3) foundation that funds the high value library programs not covered in the Town of Bristol budget. 

 

The programs we fund foster a love of books and media literacy by:

• Shortening wait times for popular eBooks with Bristol-only E-Zone Express

• Paying for all children’s books found in the library

• Mailing free books each month to Bristol children five and under via the Dolly Parton Imagination Library

• Paying performers for the library’s children’s programs

• Supporting book clubs for children, teens, and adults

• Sponsoring talks on aging and caregiving for older individuals or their families

• In conjunction with Bristol Art Museum, supporting Mount Hope High School’s Art at RFL exhibit 

 

Donations to the Friends of the Rogers Free Library allow us to continue to provide support above and beyond the town budget.  Please contribute today.
